Drawing with ink is like meditation, bringing me back to ancient times and civilizations immortalized today for their writings and drawing with ink.

My mind pictures Chinese landscapes and calligraphy full of emotions and the precise ink drawings of Renaissance artists.

I draw with a feather. I combine black ink with watercolor, because that's how the line meets the color most effectively. A new meaning and a new form is emerging.

This series was born during the first and most severe Сovid restrictions, when I spent days alone in a closed apartment and had no other art materials except for paper, pencil, ink and half-dried watercolors.
